Katie Anthony is a Master’s Level Marriage and Family Therapist practicing near Nashville.

I will work with and advocate for you to help you create a life of greater peace, congruency, connection, and authenticity. I am deeply and genuinely interested in your experiences, and how you view yourself, the world, and the people in your life. Together we will look at the systems that shape you- like your family of origin, current family, social network, race, culture, socioeconomic group, occupational life, and spiritual community.

I am a collaborative and trauma-informed therapist who integrates practices from attachment, EMDR, CBT, experiential, and solutions-focused theories and modalities depending on your needs and goals.

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Berry College and completed my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy at Lipscomb University, with high clinical honors. I am EMDR trained, Prepare-Enrich Certified and have earned a Traumatic Stress Studies Certificate through the Trauma Research Foundation, led by founder and medical director Bessel van der Kolk.

I am a member of the American Academy of Marriage and Family Therapists, and The EMDR International Association.

When I’m not working, I love getting lost in books and spending time in the low country of South Carolina and the hills of Tennessee by boat, by foot or on horseback.

Katie Anthony is an MMFT in the state of Tennessee, practicing under the supervision of Amy Frew, Ph.D., MSN, PMHNP-BC, APRN, LMFT, PMH-C, RPT-S.
